Charley is FIV positive, but please don't let that stop you from getting to know him. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is a feline-only virus that cannot be transmitted to humans. While it can compromise a cat's immune system, many FIV+ cats live long, healthy, and happy lives for many years without serious symptoms. The virus is most often spread through deep bite wounds, which means Charley can live safely with other FIV-negative cats as long as they get along and don't fight.
