Meet Rebel: The Miracle Cat Ready to Melt Your Heart

Imagine surviving the absolute harshest of winter nights, frozen to a pond, entirely alone in the biting cold. Now, imagine walking away from that unimaginable ordeal with nothing but pure love in your heart.

That is Rebel.

Against all odds, this sweet, profoundly deaf, and undeniably eccentric little survivor fought to stay alive during one of our cruelest winters. Today, he is a tough, resilient soul wrapped in a petite, adorable package—and he is looking for the safe, warm forever home he has always deserved.

The Master of Affection

Rebel is a cat who knows exactly what he wants, and he is an absolute expert at capturing your heart to get it. His signature move? The "Stop, Drop, and Roll." When he decides it’s time for love, he will confidently march over, plant himself right on top of your foot, and flop over to expose his belly for mandatory rubs.

Quirks & Hobbies

Water Baby: Incredibly, despite his icy past, Rebel holds absolutely no grudges against water! He is a delightfully quirky character who actually loves to play and splash in his water bowl.

Playful Spirit: He has a wonderful medium energy level. He loves keeping busy with interactive toys, zooming through tunnels, and dominating his large race track toy.

Spa Days: He is perfectly fine with being brushed, enjoying the pampering that keeps his coat looking sharp.

Rebel’s Special Care
Because Rebel’s little body has been through so much, his digestive system needs a helping hand. He cannot process standard proteins, so to keep his tummy as happy as his heart, Rebel requires a strict prescription hydrolyzed protein diet (hard food) for the rest of his life. It is a simple daily routine, but it is an absolute must to keep this miracle boy healthy and thriving.

His Ideal Forever Home

Other cats? Due to his strong, dominant personality, Rebel needs to be the only cat in the home—with one special exception! He has lived harmoniously with his buddy Thumper for the past two years. If you are looking to adopt a dynamic duo, Rebel would love to be adopted alongside Thumper! Otherwise, he demands the feline throne all to himself.

Canine Companions: Rebel actually likes dogs! He does beautifully with non-prey-driven pups and has happily shared his space with a Lab and a sweet, cat-friendly little Staffy.

Older Children: Because of his bold, dominant personality and his deafness, Rebel will flourish best in a home with kids aged 12 and up.

Rebel has survived the unimaginable, and all he asks for in return is a bowl of his special food, some fun toys, and a human whose foot he can use as his personal belly-rub station. If you have room in your heart to spoil a true survivor, Rebel is ready to be your best friend.
