Meet Satori 🌸

In Zen Buddhism, "Satori" means enlightenment.

We found this tiny soul at a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return)site, lying motionless on the ground. For a moment, we feared the worst—but then, a tiny breath.

After a week of being "touch-and-go", Satori chose to stay.

She became our enlightenment, showing us why we never stop fighting for cats in our communities.

Satori survived, but she carries her journey with her. She recently had surgery to remove an eye that didn’t develop properly, making her our brave little "pirate queen."

If you look closely, you’ll see her unique "tiger stripes" on one side of her face and on her head—a mark of the fierce survivor she is!

Despite her brave exterior, Satori has a soft, quirky side. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is her safety measuring tape. She loves to play with it daily; it’s as if she’s measuring just how far she’s come.

Satori is independent, mischievous, and full of "big kitten energy." She loves a game of "catch me if you can" followed by a playful bunny hop back to your side pretending you can'tsee her.

While she prefers her feet on the ground rather than being held, she’ll sing you a purr-filled songs. She loves getting pets while eating. Satori may be a little slow to warm up because shes been through a lot in her short life. She will need some patience and a bonding time period.

Ideal Home:

🚫 No dogs or young children: Her limited vision means she needs a calm, predictable environment.

🐈 A gentle feline friend: She enjoys other cats but prefers a calm companion who won’t pounce on her (since being startled can be scary with her one eye).

🐦 A window for bird watching: She loves Cat TV!
